Warehouse Management
There is no rest in the warehouse market: developers erect complexes and then leave them to the mercy of the market. The main players are direct lessees, who need storage space, and logistics providers, who are using leased premises to build up their business and avoid tying up funds in construction work. Management companies, which have already made their mark in different segments of the real estate market, have fallen out of the ‘owner-lessee’ chain, since warehouses, as before, are being serviced by the owners themselves, and outsourcing is not even considered.

Russia, Belarus, Germany and Poland create the logistics center
Russia, Belarus, Germany and Poland create the joint logistical center of railway freight traffic. As the press-service of the Belarus embassy in Russia referring to the information of the chief of the Belarus railway of Vladimir Zherelo has informed, work on creation of the center already conducted, constituent documents are preparing. The logistical center will be located in Moscow.

They will put vodka in a wine portfolio
Yesterday Ukrainian concern “Overlain”, entering into the five of leading manufacturers of vodka, and one of the largest wine producing associations – The First National Wine Producing Holding have informed on signing the contract about association of distribution of production in Kiev, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. Experts approve, that thus the companies can increase profit on sales of production by 25-30 %.

The integrator grows logistics
It is officially declared end of the project of automation of a meat distribution centre for company MeatLand L&D. It is result of partnership of Petersburg integrator Qbix with the company i2 CIS which specializes in the field of decisions on optimization of Supply Chains. The Distribution centre became the first logistics center of such level in territory of Northwest region, investments into its creation have in total made $12 million. The received experience on introduction of Exceed WMS 4000 company Qbix already applies at the large enterprise in Voronezh, planning to finish the given project in September of current year.

As it became known, after French Sucden and «Rusagro», company “Prodimeks” hasabout investments into manufacture has declared: it will enclose 54 million euro in modernization of own factories.
